Not a "piola" but the Piola
In the Piedmontese dialect the piola is the village inn, the place where you eat traditional dishes and drink generous glasses of local wine.
Hidden in this term there is an additional meaning, which describes a feeling: in a piola you go to feel good together. The convivial atmosphere, almost familiar, becomes the perfect complement to the food on the table, to the wine in the glasses.
For this reason, when in 2005 the Ceretto family decided to open a restaurant offering the typical cuisine of the Langhe, the choice fell on this name. Not a “piola” but the Piola, to witness the desire to be faithful interpreters of a gastronomic tradition that has made the Langhe one of the most famous places in the world for the quality of food.

La Piola
La Piola is the ideal restaurant as it is found in many Italian provinces for us: an everyday restaurant, located in the main square of the village, designed for conviviality. Here we interpret the history and tradition of the cuisine of the Langhe, with the aim of focusing on the gastronomic richness of our region with a cuisine that is based on the highest quality raw materials and that adapts the most historic recipes to the needs of the present.
